At Lighting by Lux our goal is your 100% satisfaction. Unlike many of our competitors we do not charge restocking fees within the first 30 days. To arrange your no hassle return, just give us a call at 1-800-419-5967, contact us through Live Chat or at the email address above.
Detail: Contact customer service within 30 days of receipt to obtain an RMA (Return Materials Authorization) number. Once an RMA is issued, it is valid for 30 days. Any product shipped back to Lighting by Lux without an RMA number will be refused. Return shipping costs will be paid by the customer, unless otherwise agreed by a representative (Shipping Fees Are Non-Refundable). No returns accepted after 30 days from time of delivery.
The product must be in its original packing and uninstalled. Upon inspection and approval a credit will be issued to the card used for purchase; for the agreed upon amount with no restocking fees!
Exceptions: Any product that was custom made, made to order, shipped via freight, ordered under a special quote, or ordered in quantities of (5) or more are not returnable. Sale items (noted with "Sale Price") may be returned for store credit only. Designer & custom finishes are non-returnable. Orders over $2000 are not returnable. Likewise some items from Kalco, Schonbek, Meyda, Justice Design, and Fine Art Lamps are not returnable. Contact us for details. Note: If item has been installed, a restocking fee of 25% will be applied to the refund.
Damaged & Defective Goods: Please report any damaged or defective goods within seven (7) days of receiving the product. We will gladly replace (or repair) damaged goods provided the item is not installed, the original packaging is retained and the issue is reported within seven (7) days of the items receipt. At our sole discretion after seven (7) calendar days, we will offer a replacement, exchange or store credit only. Items must be in "new, unaltered and unused condition". We reserve sole and final judgment as to the definition of new, unaltered and unused.
Special Notes: If an item is received damaged or is incorrectly shipped by Lighting by Lux please contact customer support immediately. Please do not install a damaged or defective item, doing so will limit options for replacement, exchange or repair. Items that are defective and shipped from Lighting by Lux or items that you did not order but received from us will qualify for store credit or cash refund. We are unable to accept more than (1) order for return in any 30 day period. In addition we reserve the right to refuse new orders from accounts with pending RMA's.
Refunds: Refunds are contingent of inspection of item(s) upon receipt. We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. Please note: we will refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error. We will do our best to process the return quickly. Please allow 7-14 days for processing. Refunds will be credited to the original purchasing credit card number or Paypal account only.
We may assign a 15% restocking fee for items returned past the aforementioned deadlines. Again you must contact us within seven (7) days if you intend to return any defective item back to our store. Defective items returned to us AFTER seven (7) days and or without contacting us will not be refunded. Customer is responsible for all shipping costs if seller is not at fault and or customer refuses a replacement item for damaged goods.
Any refused shipments or products shipped back to the original shipper without previous consent or without contacting Lighting by Lux beforehand, will be subject to a minimum 15% re-stocking fee.
International Shipments: International shipments are non-returnable. Lighting by Lux is not responsible for the international transportation of goods.
Gift Cards: Any return associated with an order that received a gift card, will have the dollar amount of the gift card subtracted from the refunded amount. No exceptions.
